From wraps to PPF and tint, we help you protect your paint and stand out for the right reasons.

We tint commercial vehicles. Vans, work trucks, fleet sedans, sprinter vans, box trucks, delivery vehicles. If your business has a vehicle on the road, we can darken its glass. We do not film residential or commercial buildings, automotive only.

This page covers what commercial tint actually does for a working vehicle, what we install, and roughly what it costs.

Why a work vehicle benefits from tint

Three reasons we hear from owners with fleet vehicles.

Cargo privacy. A van full of tools, copper, electronics, or product is a target in any parking lot. Dark tint on the rear and side windows hides what is inside. Thieves break windows for what they can see. A blacked-out cargo area means walking past the van instead of through it.

Driver and crew comfort. A delivery van that sits at job sites all day with the AC running burns fuel. Tint cuts the heat load and lets the AC work less. For drivers parked outside in a Wylie summer, the difference between untinted and ceramic-tinted glass is meaningful.

Vehicle preservation. UV fades dashboards, leather seats, and door panel plastics. A fleet vehicle that gets traded in 5 years from now holds more value if the interior has not been baked. Quality tint blocks 99 percent plus of UV regardless of darkness.

What we install on commercial vehicles

The same tint families we use on personal vehicles, picked for the use case.

Ceramic tint for fleet vehicles where driver comfort and AC efficiency matter. Llumar IRX or 3M Crystalline. Blocks heat by rejecting infrared, not just by going darker. Pays itself back in cabin comfort and reduced AC load on a van that runs all day.

Carbon tint for cargo vans and work trucks where the priority is privacy on the back glass and a clean look up front. Suntek carbon. Lower cost than ceramic, still durable, no fade or purple shift.

Privacy tint on the rear cargo area is often the only tint a commercial van needs. Some owners come in only wanting the back darkened to hide tools and inventory, leaving the front legal and standard. We can quote that as a partial install.

Texas tint law for commercial vehicles

Texas tint law applies to commercial vehicles the same as personal. The law is about the glass and the driver’s view, not who owns the vehicle.

  • Front side windows: 25 percent VLT minimum
  • Rear side windows: any darkness allowed
  • Rear window: any darkness allowed
  • Windshield: top 5 inches only
  • Reflective: max 25 percent on the front sides
  • Medical exemption available with documentation
  • For a cargo van or box truck where the rear is solid metal anyway, only the front side and windshield strip rules really apply. You can blackout the rear cargo glass to whatever shade you want.

    What commercial tint costs

Real ranges. Quote depends on the vehicle, the glass count, and which film.

  • Carbon tint, full cargo van: 250 to 375 dollars on average vehicles, more on larger sprinter or box truck builds with extra glass
  • Ceramic tint, full vehicle: 450 to 700 dollars on standard vans and trucks
  • Rear cargo only (privacy install): less, priced per glass count
  • We can also quote multi-vehicle fleet pricing if you have a small fleet coming in together. Stop in or call us for a real number.

    Fleet branding paired with tint

Lots of business owners come in for tint and end up adding fleet graphics or partial wraps at the same time. It is efficient to do both in one shop visit. We install full commercial wraps and partial graphics, and the wrap and tint stages do not interfere with each other in scheduling.

Common combo: tint the glass and wrap the body in company colours with logo and contact info. The vehicle leaves looking professional and the driver gets the comfort and privacy benefits at the same time.

    Install time and downtime

A full tint on a standard van or truck takes 2 to 4 hours on the bench. We can usually schedule a single vehicle for a same-day in-and-out. For a small fleet, we coordinate so vehicles cycle through without taking the whole fleet off the road at once.

After install, the windows need to stay up for 3 to 5 days for the film to cure. Drivers can use the vehicle immediately, just keep the windows up.

    Care for fleet tint

Same care as personal tint, but worth saying again because fleet vehicles get washed harder.

  • No ammonia-based glass cleaner inside (Windex eats the adhesive)
  • Soft microfiber for interior cleaning, not paper towels
  • Outside washing is fine immediately, the film is on the inside of the glass
  • Most fleet tint that fails early was killed by ammonia cleaner used by a well-meaning crew. Tell the team. Buy non-ammonia glass cleaner and put it in the supply closet.

    Service area

We tint commercial vehicles for businesses across Wylie, Plano, Frisco, Allen, Garland, Rockwall, Murphy, Sachse, and Lavon. Drop off the vehicle, leave it for the install window, pick up a darker, more comfortable, more secure work vehicle.
